Daniel’s clinical journey began as a Strength and Conditioning Coach and Exercise Physiologist with Peak Centre, Canada’s leading private sport science centre.
A fascination with how injuries plagued athletic performance led him to the Sutherland College of Osteopathy under world- renowned osteopath Guy Voyer, and McMaster University’s Medical Acupuncture program under Dr. Alejandro Elloriaga.
Realizing the brain’s ultimate control in rehabilitation and performance led his journey to the Functional Neurology Diplomate and Traumatic Brain Injury/Vestibular Fellowship programs at the Carrick Institute for Graduate Studies under Dr. Ted Carrick. The Carrick Institute has garnered worldwide acclaim as the premier neurological rehabilitation provider.
Daniel has written articles for numerous publications and has recently completed his first book project as a contributor to the Childhood in America series by Praeger Publishing. He serves on the board of the Headstrong Foundation, a concussion education and advocacy group, lectures on rehabilitation, and speaks at clinics, schools, hospitals, and senior’s homes.
Daniel is currently conducting postgraduate research with Neuro Research, a medical education company that focuses on neurotransmitter optimization through Organic Cation Transporters (OCT). Other research areas include:
